My Pledge to Parents
Quality daycare is very important to the physical and emotional well-being of a child. I want to work with you to make your child’s stay in my Center a happy and positive experience. I hope to enhance their appreciation of trust and honesty to self and others and provide them a greater sense of responsibility.
Our goal is to nurture a more diverse and inclusive generation of young children who will succeed through their experiences of equitable learning opportunities we provide. We aim for each child to express comfort and joy with human diversity; to increasingly recognize bias; and to have the will and the skills to act against prejudice and injustice.
I welcome your thoughts of a new game, an interesting snack idea, a method that motivates a child, or an idea for an outing.
I expect to hear from you when your child seems unhappy, whether in person or over the phone. An evening phone call or conference with me is always available to you when the need to talk arises. I realize that our minutes are often very limited at the front door during morning drop offs or evening pickups.
You will never miss a day of work because your provider is too busy or just doesn’t feel like working. I am committed to the future by supporting the needs of our children today. Your child is my priority and will be treated with love and respect when they are in our care.
This is our pledge to parents.
Sincerely,
Peggy Pierce, Director/Owner
